Helping Our Colorado Communities Recover
Wildfire changes everything. When the flames are gone, the work of rebuilding begins.
White Elk Forestry was created to help protect Colorado’s forests before wildfire and restore them afterward. Following major wildfires, we offer reduced-rate post-fire rehabilitation services to help homeowners safely begin recovering their properties without waiting months for larger recovery programs or agency-funded projects.
Our services may include:
✓ Hazard tree assessment & removal
✓ Fire-killed tree removal
✓ Property clean-up & access restoration
✓ Defensible space rebuilding
✓ Forest rehabilitation & selective thinning
✓ Trail, driveway & access clearing
✓ Low-impact forestry for difficult-access properties
Our Wildfire Recovery Commitment
For qualifying wildfire recovery projects, White Elk Forestry offers discounted pricing whenever possible.
Our recovery rates are designed to cover the actual costs of safely performing the work—including labor, equipment, fuel, insurance, and operating expenses—while allowing us to continue serving additional families and communities. The goal isn’t to maximize profit during a disaster; it’s to help as many homeowners as possible begin recovering safely and responsibly.
Every project is unique, and we’ll work with you to develop a practical plan that fits your property’s needs and your budget.
The Pay It Forward Recovery Program
Recovery is stronger when neighbors help neighbors.
If you’d like to do a little more, you can choose to round your final invoice up to the nearest $100—or contribute any additional amount you’d like.
Every dollar donated is placed into a county-specific Wildfire Recovery Fund dedicated to helping the next homeowner affected by the same wildfire.
For example:
Your project total is $2,460.
You choose to round your invoice to $2,500.
The additional $40 goes directly into your county’s recovery fund.
The next qualifying homeowner in your community receives that amount as a credit toward their project.
As more homeowners participate, those contributions grow into meaningful assistance that helps reduce costs for families recovering from the same wildfire.
No homeowner is ever expected to participate. It’s simply an opportunity to extend a helping hand to someone else in your community who may be facing the same challenges.
Restoring More Than Properties
Wildfire recovery is about more than removing burned trees.
It’s about making properties safe again, restoring access, protecting homes from future wildfire, and helping forests begin the long process of recovery. Every property restored contributes to a stronger, healthier, and more resilient landscape for the entire community.
If your property has been impacted by wildfire, we’d be honored to help you take the next step toward recovery.
